Weights and Measures Act (1963) (UK)
Definition:
This act consolidated a considerable number of earlier acts in setting out definitions and standards for weight and measurement and deals with the marketing of a wide range of processed and unprocessed goods and merchandise. Enforcement is the responsibility of the local authority.
