weak signals

Definition:
An idea proposed by Igor Ansoff that argues that future events are anticipated by weak signals which, if identified, will give advance warning of a forthcoming change. Accordingly scanning for weak signals should be an integral part of ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS. A useful concept difficult to implement.
