territorial rights
Definition:
(territorial franchise). A FRANCHISE agreement in which a supplier grants the exclusive right to develop the potential demand in an area for a product to one distributor. The right may be conditional on using approved distribution policies or practices, and the boundaries of the territory will be defined.
