Newspaper Publishers' Association (NPA)
Definition:
Trade association of the UK national daily newspapers and the one London evening paper, founded in 1906. In addition to the usual range of activities of a trade association, it also acts on behalf of the dailies in wage negotiations and industrial disputes, and is one of the trade associations which award 'recognition' to RECOGNIZED ADVERTISING AGENCIES.
