jingle
Definition:
A tune or song, composed or adapted specifically to form part of a television or radio COMMERCIAL. The term is usually pejorative, implying that the melody is trite and the lyrics banal. But Bach fugues and arias have become irrevocably associated with small cigars through their use in UK television advertising and a Coca-Cola jingle reached number one in the UK charts as 'I'd like to teach the world to sing'.
