frequency

Definition:
The number of times an individual reader, viewer or listener sees or hears a given ADVERTISEMENT or COMMERCIAL in an advertising CAMPAIGN. Average frequency is computed as gross cover divided by net cover and is usually expressed in terms of OPPORTUNITIES-TO-SEE or 'OTS' even in the case of radio listening.
