BACC
Definition:
Acronym for the Broadcast Advertising Clearance Centre, a key player in the British system of ADVERTISING CONTROL. On behalf of the Independent Television Commission (ITC), the BACC operates a Copy Clearance Secretariat from which permission must be obtained before any television advertising can be aired.
