Adshel
Definition:
The proprietary name, sometimes used generically, of an advertising site which integrates a POSTER into the structure of a bus shelter. The original 'four sheet' panels (60 in x 40 in) are being steadily supplanted by back-illuminated 'six-sheet' (1.2 m x 1.8 m), 'lightboxes', branded by the two MEDIA OWNERS offering them as Citylight (formerly 'superlite') and Backlight. See also OUTDOOR.
