accumulation process
Definition:
The act of collecting small quantities of PRODUCTS from producers for storage, sale and distribution e.g. cereals, fruit, milk, vegetables etc. The products may also be graded and/ or processed e.g. grapes for wine production. The process may be managed by producer co-operatives or independent middlemen.
